Valle del Maipo, Region del Valle Central, ChileThe price alone sets the wine off in the right direction. Maipo Valley is the home of this clean, bright, correctly made sauvignon fermented in stainless steel. The finished wine sits on its lees until bottling, where it gains little extra texture and weight. Expect grassy, citrus, grapefruit with lemon peel and passionfruit. Prawns, fresh goat cheese, or a vegetarian pasta all work here. Good value.Tasted: 05 May 2022Tasted by: Prices:
Valle del Maipo, Region del Valle Central, ChileThis 2021 Reserva comes from Maipo Valley, and was fermented cool in stainless, where it remained on lees until bottling. Crisp and bright, with lemon peel / pith, passionfruit, cantaloup, white grapefruit, and grass, this carries all the freshness of the cold Pacific. Quite smart, especially with fresh shellfish, and spring salads.Tasted: 06 May 2022Tasted by: Prices:
