Juliénas, Beaujolais Villages, Beaujolais, Burgundy, FranceThis tiny low-intervention negotiant sources grapes in Chenas, Juliénas, and Chiroubles, employing native ferment, semi-carbonic maceration, and 10 months in older wood. Benjamin cut his teeth in Vosne-Romanée, and has now turned his passion towards Cru Beaujolais. From 80 year old vines on blue and red granites, this darker, gutsier Juliénas draws black raspberry, wax, dusty stones, across a buzzy, granite-lit palate.
