LuxembourgBernard-Massard is a 5th generation family owned business that is Luxembourg's primary sparkling wine producer. Traditional method sparklers are the focus, and this copper coloured fizz is a good example. It opens with a barrage of raspberries and candied cherries on the nose that spills to the palate with a light fizz, more of that pinot cherry, and a well balanced, almost dry back end. This is well suited for lunch and patio parties, and can handle a bit of spice.
