Vinho Verde, Northern Portugal, PortugalThe Adega Cooperativa de Ponte da Barca, began in 1968, and today farms 850ha from 1100 members, mainly located in the valleys of Lima and Vez Rivers. This Loureiro / Alvarinho label features the naperão, the embroidered lace table mat popular in the 60s and 70s. This was destemmed, cool fermented with no skin contact (bica aberta) and aged briefly in stainless. Lean and light, with sour apple, lemon, green pear on a slight palate, with white peach spicing lingering on the rear.
