Valle del Curicó, Region del Valle Central, ChileNo es Pituko' is Chilean slang for 'it ain't fancy' reflecting natural nature of this wine, made without any additions or deletions. These 20 year old cabernet sauvignon vines come from La Estancia Vineyard in the Curicó Valley, at 243m. It was destemmed and native fermented in stainless, where it remained for 3 months prior to bottling. Slightly hazy and vibrant purple, this lighter cab carries dusky plum, cassis, branch, tobacco, pink peppercorns on the slight palate, with grippy / furry tannins hugging the sides to the warming finish, and crunchy acidity keeping everything fresh in the mouth.
