Canelones, UruguayThis tannat comes from the Riberas del Santa Lucía, and spent 8 months in French oak. Ripe and full with twiney cassis, blackberry leather, medicinal cherry and a spritzy tart cranberry twist Tthe tannins were are still massive and drying, but now, near a decade on, have sunken into the fruit some.
