Alsace, FranceSourced from a 30 year old granitic soiled, terraced pinot noir vineyard in Blienschwiller, in the Bas-Rhin, this pinot noir was fermented and aged in very old (75+ years), very large wood. Finessed and elegant, with wild morello cherry, wild raspberry layered with salty stoniness, and licked with kirsch. Tannins are long and fine, housing this to the lingering saline finish.
