Alentejo, Central and Southern Portugal, PortugalThis fuller Alentejo touriga nacional was native fermented in a mix of inox and large oak vats before resting for a few months in the same. Touriga's inherent purple perfumes lead, followed by the grape's characteristic tannic grip. Black plum, wild blackberry, cassis, crushed violets rule the grippy palate, lit with a bright acidity and finishing with a chewy plum note. A pretty, fuller red primed for drinking now with roast lamb and/or beef. Well known consultant winemaker Antonio Maçanita makes this wine.Tasted: 01 April 2022Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
