Penedès, Catalunya (Catalonia Cataluña), SpainThis is the classic Cava cuvée of macabeo, xarel lo, and parellada, all grown in the Penedès region. The nose and palate are an ethereal mix of citrus, lime rind, and dried fruits. Pere Ventura created the Clos Amador facility in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, just outside of Barcelona, in 1992.
