Champagne Tribaut Schloesser Vallée du Brunet Blanc de Noirs Brut Nature NV

Champagne, FranceFounded in 1929 and now 4 generations in, farming 40 hectares including additional growers' vines. This 50/50 Pinot Noir / Pinot Meunier comes from Romery, Eceuil, Damery and Olizy, with 40% of the base wine aged in barres and foudre before going to bottle for 30 months on lees, and a zero dosage. Both the red fruits and time in wood are apparent, leading with cherry, ripe raspberry, meringue, and toast on a gently expansive, doughy palate. The finish lingers with toast and apple blossoms. A welcoming, cushy champagne.Tasted: 12 April 2022Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
