Champagne, FranceChampagne Etienne Leclair is UK grocery's own brand, under it's The Best label. This deeply pink hue (in the scary clear lightstrike-able bottle) is based on pinot meunier, affording the generous fruitiness to the medium bodied palate. Cherry brioche, strawberry jam, red apples flood the welcoming palate, structured with a stony intensity, and finishing with an alluring spice.
