Cascina Galarin Nuvole Chardonnay 2020
Piedmont, ItalyA 24 hour skin contact precedes a one month stainless steel fermentation at 14-16C with weekly bâtonnage. The colour is straw yellow, and the nose is an attractive, slightly reductive floral mix of citrus and hazelnuts. Similar flavours mark the palate, with a breath of fresh acidity and complex savouriness. A classy medium-weight chardonnay with fine minerality and a sense of place at the dinner table. I love the simplicity and pureness of this chardonnay. Great value too.
