Cascina Galarin Barivel Arneis 2020

Langhe, Cuneo, Piedmont, ItalyBarivel is another fine effort from Galarin and a personal Piemonte favourite. In south Piemonte, the arneis grape is grown artisanally at Guarene on the calcareous and sandy soils of the Roero area. It's a high-density planting at 250 metres above sea level. The attack is fresh with lifted floral citrus and musk melon with underlying lees and a shaved almond bent. Dry and elegant, this is a terrific seafood wine or the perfect appetizer white before a rich meal. It can easily take on turkey or mushroom risotto at the dinner table or serve it with a favourite vegetarian dinner.‎Tasted: 02 April 2022Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices: BC 32.99 select private retailers Producer: Cascina GalarinDistributors: Stirling Libations
