Rioja, SpainThis Viura comes from vineyards 20-40 years old in Rioja Alavesa's Leza, Samaniego, and Laguardia. A third of the wine is fermented in near new French barrels. The wood imparts only texture and gentle spice to this medium bodied white, with white peach, pear, perfumed quince, lees wrapped around a creamy core.
