Gualtallary, Tupungato, Valle de Uco, Tunuyán, Central Region, Mendoza, ArgentinaA touch reductive on opening, but that blows off quickly. The tall 7-year-old espalier-trained vineyard sits at 1,350 metres in Gualtallary, Tupungato. Sand and stone mixed with chalk make a fresh and silky impression on the palate. Three different picks contribute to the style, each vinified separately with indigenous yeasts. The soft, round, easy-sipping style speaks to its concrete ageing.
