Marlborough, South Island, New ZealandThis Pinot Gris comes off their estate Pauls Road and Tussocks Vineyard sites. It was whole bunch pressed, settled for 12-24 before fermentation in tank, where it was left on lees for five months before blending and bottling. Perfumed pear, gooseberry, baked yellow apple, grapefruit rule the generous palate, with a slight bump of RS (3 g/L), upping the friendliness factor.
