Languedoc, Sud de France, FranceFrom 60 year old organically grown carignan vines in Minervois, this was macerated for 3 weeks prior to fermentation and aging 6 months in concrete. Ripe cherry and raspberry flood a fresh, round palate, seasoned with worked leather and scrubby spices, and textured with a concrete rasp.
