Narrative Non-Fiction Red Blend by Okanagan Crush Pad 2018

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis year's Narrative Non-Fiction is from a single Osoyoos organically farmed vineyard, and based on Cabernet Sauvignon, with Merlot and Cabernet Franc filling out the whole. It was fermented and aged in concrete for 10 months. Smoked stone and cedar bases this softer wine, topped with blackcurrant, blackberry and stewed raspberry on a shorter palate. Tannins are well absorbed, leaving a bit of a pasty note through to the tart finish. Best cracked alongside grilled root veg or shepherd's pie.Tasted: 12 March 2022Tasted by: Prices:
