Arroyo Seco, Monterey County, Central Coast, California, United StatesThe grapes for this wine were grown primarily in Hahn's estate St. Nicolas Vineyard in the cooler Arroyo Seco AVA, within Monterey County, on rocky Lockwood Loam and Rincon Clay Loam. This spent 9 months in French oak (15% new). Ripe and creamy, with baked pear, apple pie, lemon curd across an expansive palate, accented by toasted baking spice.
