The style is comfortable as if it was designed for pleasure and consumption rather than long-term cellaring. A warm year aids in building the ripe cherry component mixed with more classic tar and spice that somehow retains its elegance throughout a fragrant, new leather finish. What tannin exists is quick dissipating, making it a beautiful style for mid-term drinking.
