Liquidity Reserve Pinot Noirtext

Liquidity Reserve Pinot Noir 2019

Okanagan Falls, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaLiquidity Reserve mixes clones 667 (lush red fruits and full-bodied texture) with 115 (earthy, savoury thyme and forest floor notes). Each clone is fermented on its own to reach its zenith. The nose is plummy with red fruit compote and smoky-toasted oak dusted with pepper. The flavours are earthy, spicy, savoury that take me to Oregon on the palate. Tannins are supple but dense, giving this pinot substantial mouth presence and balancing the acidity. Onsite chef Phil Tees recommends garlic mushrooms on grilled ciabatta, eggplant pilaf with halloumi, and tuna tartar as matches. The fruit is all estate grown on the Allendale Vineyard. Drink or hold through 2024.Tasted: 20 February 2022Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
