Okanagan Falls, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe Reserve Chardonnay continues to improve, shedding oak and packing on fruit and creamy lees textures. The nose is a mix of fresh melon and tropical fruit that spills onto a citrus palate with toasted hazelnut, fresh papaya. It is all estate fruit (Clone 76), from the oldest block planted in 1994. It is aged ten months in 25% new French oak with frequent lees stirring. Only 60% of the wine goes through malolactic fermentation.
