Henry of Pelham Estate Gamay 2019
Niagara Peninsula, Ontario, CanadaAfter a stainless ferment, this aged in a mix of French and American oak for 10 months. The wood is evident from first whiff of this darker hued gamay, with apple cedar spicing seasoning dark cherry, baked plum, black raspberry on a fuller, plump palate. Tannins are soft, and acidity is bright, easily balancing out the fruit. A smart choice for drinking now, especially with duck or saucy mushroom dishes.Tasted: 12 January 2022Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:ON | $21.95 | 750ml | winery direct |
