Cà dei Frati I Frati Lugana 2020

Verona, Veneto, ItalyLugana is a wine-specific viticultural region in northern Italy straddling the regional border between Lombardy and Veneto at the southern end of Lake Garda. It is a triumph in trebbiano, which probably explains why it isn't available in government stores. Ca' dei Frati Lugana DOC uses only one grape variety, named Turbiana, that is genetically identical to Trebbiano di Lugana, and Verdicchio Bianco. The nose is a pleasant peachy, yellow apple affair with some added rosé petal perfume. Elegant and fresh, it is the perfect seafood or white meats wine, although it would be a fine partner for assorted sushi items here in Vancouver.Tasted: 31 January 2022Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
