Oddbird Rosé NV
Roussillon, Sud de France, FranceI wonder if tasters of regular alcohol-based wines should be tasting and rating non-alcoholic wines. Of course, we can do it, and we have opinions, but frankly, these wines are so far outside the realm of alcohol-based wines it is really a whole new arena. The Oddbird Sparkling Rosé, as they say. "is liberated from alcohol." I might add weight and texture too, but is that even a fair judgement? It is a light red/pink sparkler that mixes chardonnay and pinot noir that is wood-aged and pumped up with 47 grams of residual sugar to fill in any holes. In the end, it is a frothy strawberry, watermelon, green apple sparkler with a sweet finish. As good as any we have tasted in this style.Tasted: 23 July 2021Tasted by: Prices:Blend: Chardonnay - Pinot NoirCSPC: 847631UPC: 7350067731137
