Bachelder Wismer Parke Wild West End Pinot Noir 2019

Twenty Mile Bench, Niagara Peninsula, Ontario, CanadaFifty metres from Wismer-Parker Vineyard proper on the Twenty Mile Bench, Wild West-End refers to westerly rows rich in reddish magnesium oxide and dolomitic-limestone clay. These soils give this wine its "wild" iron character. That savouriness is at the forefront, alongside perfumed spices complemented by rich red cherries and dried flowers. It's exceptionally complex and expressive in a muscular and structured style, while still refined and profoundly elegant. This will only improve, but it's hard to resist right now. An impressive wine. From an unknown clone planted in 1999.Tasted: 29 November 2021Tasted by: Prices:
