Sicily, ItalyThis perricone is sourced from Mazara del Vallo, in northwestern Sicily, and on pebbly clay limestones around 150m. This fermented with skins over one month, before transferring to large oak barrels for a year, followed by another further year in bottle prior to release. Wild herbs, baked black fruit, thorns, cured meats, and anise are drawn across the full bodied palate, hugged by sticky tannins to the finish.
