Osoyoos, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis wine is interesting on many levels. Yes, it has an undertone of wildfire smoke, but it manages to pull it all off given how much fruit purity is currently showing in the wine. It is a pretty red wine with rich black fruit, spice, and subtle chocolate flecked with tobacco and cedar. The tannins are expertly managed to add to the lushness and length of the wine.
