Church & State Wines Pinot Gris 2018
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrench-born and trained winemaker Arnaud Thierry oversees all the Church and State wines in Victoria and the Okanagan, and he is off to an impressive start. 2018 is all stainless fermented and mostly aged for six months on its lees in the same vessels, with ten percent going into French oak. The nose is crisp and fresh with a slight mineral pitch followed by intense peach and apple orchard aromas. The palate is medium-soft with leesy, sweet lime, grapefruit and yellow fruit. Ready to drink, and I suggest you serve it well chilled.Tasted: 06 August 2021Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $18.99 | 750ml | winery online/direct |
