Therapy Riesling 2020
Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaWinemaker/viticulturalist Jack Kempf continues to reap the rewards of her tireless work in the vineyards and the inside the Therapy winery. 2020 was sourced from two important vineyards on the Naramata Bench. One is known for its acidity, the other at a higher elevation which consistently ripens its fruit, lending this wine its exquisite balance. It is all whole bunch pressed at low pressure for maximum gentle dejuicing, and the result after 15 weeks of cool-ferment is a very pure riesling. Look for lime and orange blossoms over a fresh palate of mineral-based citrus flavours and a rich, full-flavoured, complexly textured finish. Drink or hold, there is no rush to drink this now as it will only get better in the bottle. Sip through 2028.
