Summerhill Pyramid Winery Estate Grown Riesling Demeter Certified Biodynamic 2020
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, Canada2020 is the best yet from Summerhill, and it all Demeter certified from estate plantings of clone 21B, now over 40 years old. The wine is native fermented in stainless steel before they drop the temperature, supercooling the juice and halting the ferment to leave an off-dry Kabinett style riesling, albeit with a little less acid and electricity. You can drink it now, enjoying the ripe apple, orange that persists through the finish. It will keep for a while in the bottle, so there is no rush to drink it, and it will overperform with spicy, full-flavoured dishes.
