Nichol Vineyard Pinot Noir 2019
Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom 6 rows vines planted in 1990 beside the winery, this was whole cluster pressed and raised in neutral oak until it was bottled unfined and unfiltered. Quite youthful and primary still, with black plum, wild blackberry, crunchy black raspberry, and a wash of balsamic spilling across the peppery palate. Tannins are downy, leading this to a green herbal edged / black currant finish. Take now with a slight chill.Tasted: 28 July 2021Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:BC | $26.00 | 750ml | winery direct |
