Lock and Worth Sauvignon Blanc & Chardonnay 2019

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaSauvignon blanc and chardonnay may not make the likeliest blending partners, and though you can feel them at odds in this new cuvée, it kind of works it out at the end. This wine was never meant to be, but in the end, it was, and its uniqueness makes it special. You get both grapes clearly here: creamy pear, white peach, lemon, all lit with tart gooseberry, zesty lime pith on a dry, lightly creamy palate, seasoned with desert sage, and bedded with downy lees. One for drinking now while you wait for the Sém Sauv to get over its youthful self.Tasted: 13 July 2021Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
