Summerhill Pyramid Winery Estate Grown Chardonnay Demeter Certified Biodynamic 2020
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom their certified organic and biodynamic (Demeter) Kelowna estate vineyard, this chardonnay was taken off blocks 10 and 19, native fermented in a mix of stainless (75%) and new 500L oak. Creamy and gentle, with yellow apple, lemon custard, apple blossom on a stony base, dusted with light spicing, and filled out with a bump of RS. The new wood is well absorbed by the fruit, relaying a fine boned structure rather than potent woodiness.
