East Kelowna Slopes, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaAn organic, 777 clone pinot noir is at the heart of this Sperling rosé, coming with a deepish red colour reminiscent of a Tavel. The attack is dry, reserved, and barrel-fermented to a pleasant 11.5% alcohol, where it aged through the following March before bottling. East Kelowna Slopes, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis deeply-hued rosé was off their biodynamically-farmed estate pinot noir 777 clones. This was whole cluster pressed and fermented in barrel, where it remained until the following March when bottled. Candied apple, raspberry jam, fill a tart, slight (11.5%) yet lees-decked palate, seasoned with moss and light peppery notes to a snappy finish. Quite forward and punchy for its slight body, this is best taken now with grilled veg salads or hearty charcuterie.Tasted: 09 June 2021Tasted by: Prices:
