Sandhill Sangiovese Rosé Block No C9 2020
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis is easily one of the best rosés I've tasted so far this year. What stands out is the complexity and restraint to the fruit, with grapefruit, orange zest, delicate red berries, and a vanilla accent. It's textured and layered, lip-smacking and saline, with impeccable balance to the dry finish. This is serious rosé, to be sure.
