Rock Point Pinot Noir 2018
Oregon, United StatesRock Point is situated in Southern Oregon, and their estate vineyard rests at the northern end of the Rogue Valley, ranging in elevation from 700 to 1800 feet, rooted in ancient volcanic and alluvial fan soils. This was fermented in a mix of stainless and wood, though the wood certainly wins out, with smoked cedar wood, ample barrel spicing, forest berry and cherry on a heady, plush palate, bound by soft, pasty tannins.
