Vinho Verde, Northern Portugal, PortugalThis 60% alvarinho / 40% trajadura blend comes from Vinho Verde's hotter, interior Basto region, and the family owned (since 1769!) Quinta da Raza. This was fermented and rested in stainless, to preserve the fragrant, pure fruit. Fragrant lychee, rambutan, pear, quince is slicked with honeysuckle and perfumed with peach blossoms, dusted with a fine spice and lime pith.
