Stellenbosch, Coastal Region, South AfricaPearce Predhomme Chenin Blanc is a global (oft virtual) partnership between Ontario négociants Will Predhomme and Nicholas Pearce, together with Alex Dale and Jacques de Klerk at Radford Dale in Stellenbosch. These chenin bush vines are rooted in the decomposed granite and quartz of Helderburg mountain, in southwest Stellenbosch. It was native fermented before resting in neutral French barrels. Orange, pear, apricot fuzz, grapefruit streak through the lightly textured palate, with some skin contact providing a raspy pithiness.
