Cave Spring Chardonnay CSV 2019

Beamsville Bench, Niagara Peninsula, Ontario, CanadaCSV is produced from the top old vine parcels of their Beamsville Bench estate, and its mix of stony clay till laced with limestone, dolostone, sandstone, and shale. This was whole cluster pressed and native fermented in neutral, 225L and 500L French barrels, with full MLF. It rested 12 months on lees, and was bottled with minimal sulphur. Fragrant orange blossoms, lemon blossoms lead this creamy wine, backed by ripe pear, salted butter, and decked with river stones.
