Play Spotlight Sémillon 2019

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe nose is correct if a bit quiet with grass and honey lightly wafting from the glass. The attack is medium ripe with peach and pear that flattens out the mid-palate before a touch of leanness brings it back on track. Ready to drink but could hold through 2022. A solid, if safer sém. The fruit is all off Wild Horse Estate Vineyard, just above the Penticton airport on the west side of town. It is whole bunch pressed and aged in a 56/44 mix of barrels and stainless steel tanks regularly stirred for six months.Tasted: 07 May 2021Tasted by: Prices: BC 24.00 winery direct, private wine shops Producer: Play Estate WineryDistributors: Seacove Premium Wines and Spirits
