Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis is straight up mid valley merlot made very simply via a short cold soak, a stainless steel fermentation, and 16 months in French oak. The final blend of two vineyards, Wild Horse Estate Vineyard and King Vineyard in Kaleden, is made via a barrel selection for style and taste. Look for a tight, fresh, bloody style with a red fruit persona and some rustic tannins in the back end that need time to disperse.
