Mayhem Sauvignon Blanc 2020
Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom Naramata Bench fruit, this was destemmed and partially native fermented over one month in stainless and 225L French barriques (10% new), where it remained for 6 months on lees. I like the subtle wood touch here, up against the crunchy, bright grapefruit, tangerine, lemongrass, lime pith, and Asian pear on the palate, trailing off with an alluring salinity.
