Benjamin Laroche La Manufacture Petit Chablis 2018
Chablis, Burgundy, FranceThe Petit Chablis appellation was instituted in 1944 and is, above all, a classic chardonnay wine that has been vastly improved over the decades. The nose is a wonderful mix of herbs and florasl. The palate is packed full of surprisingly intense peachy citrus with vibrant acidity. The finish is long and salty, with more minerality punching on the back. Oysters or gougères are the ticket. Benjamin Laroche, the nephew of Michel Laroche, sources his wine from the highly reputable La Chablisienne cooperative. Stock up. A good model for BC producers to emulate.Tasted: 02 May 2021Tasted by: Prices:
