Fillaboa Selección Finca Monte Alto 2015
Rías Baixas, Galicia, SpainThis selección comes from the estate's emblematic Monte Alto plot, at 150 m, and with 28 year old vines rooted on the sandy loam soils of the 6.7 hectare site. Only around 10,000 bottles are produced each vintage. This was native fermented in stainless, where it remained for one year on fine lees. Pouring a deep glowing golden hue, reflective of its age, this teems with honeysuckle, ripe white peach, wild mint, fragrant quince, eraser, along a medium bodied, luxuriant palate, still faintly buzzing with a granitic hum.
