Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence, Provence, Sud de France, FranceCiel de Lilac Rosé hails from the Coteaux d’Aix en Provence and comes with the requisite pale French Rivera colour. It is a 50/40/10 mix of grenache, cinsault and syrah, grown over clay and limestone soils. The style is bone dry, the nose slightly aromatic, offering up notes of faded roses and redcurrants. The palate is tangy with a delicate mix of red fruits, rhubarb, and the perfect touch of bitterness in the back end. Serve with any charcuterie and local cheese.
