California, United StatesThere is a bit of Napa Valley merlot mixed into Central Coast and Lodi fruit, but every bit helps lift the wine above ordinary. The attack is rich with deep black cherry, milk chocolate, and espresso. The critics hate what the public likes, and I think this wine delivers what the public wants with their ribs or chicken and in an affordable price range.
