Garzón, Maldonado, San José, UruguayBodega Garzón is Uruguay's leading winery and one of the top architectural wineries worldwide. Located 11 miles from the Atlantic Ocean, the estate has more than 1000 small vineyard blocks covering hillside slopes of granitic soils. Lush forests, palm trees, rocky soils, and granite boulders surround the vineyards. This medium / pale pink pinot noir rosé was fermented cool in stainless and spent 3-6 months on lees there before bottling. Silken smooth, this glides along the medium+ palate with strawberries and cream, summer raspberries, and cinnamon spicing, finishing abruptly on a stony note.
