Syrah is the historical grape of La Rioja, a large province north of Mendoza, centred on the high altitude Famatina Valley. Ripe and fleshy, sweetened by the Argentine sun and amplified UV, this is dense with blackberry, black raspberry, violet, vanilla, and peppery spicing, with a savoury, smoked meat undercurrent.
