Champagne Rémi Leroy Blanc de Noirs 2014
Champagne, FranceThis pinot noir comes from Meurville, and was native fermented and vinified in a 60/40 stainless / old oak barrel split. This spent 60 months on lees, and was dosed with 1 g/L. Fragrant white and red cherry, wild raspberry, lemon pith and peel, brioche is driven by an incredibly potent streak of acidity that can only be from Pinot noir on limestone. Though this is white and sparkling, this reminds me so of Irancy with its fine, tight structure, tart red fruit, and very grippy buzzy undertow. High acid style that works so well with tapas.Tasted: 24 January 2021Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:ON | $87.00 | 750ml | consignment |
